Court No. - 40 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 42156 of 2023 Petitioner :- Vedpal Singh Respondent :- Union Of India And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Ashish Srivastava Counsel for Respondent :- A.S.G.I. Hon'ble Mahesh Chandra Tripathi,J. Hon'ble Prashant Kumar,J.
¶1Heard Shri Ashish Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Union of India-respondent.
¶2By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs :- "(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 3 to release the claim amount in favour of the petitioner within stipulated time.
(ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 3 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 30.10.2023 within stipulated period."
¶3Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer that the grievance of the petitioner may be redressed as per law.
¶4Learned Standing Counsel very fairly submits that, in case, any such representation/application is pending, the same would be decided by the concerned authority.
¶5Considering the facts and circumstances, we are not inclined to keep the matter pending consideration.
¶6Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and with the consent of counsel for the parties, the writ petition stands disposed of asking the authority concerned to look into, examine and redress the grievance of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably, within six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, but certainly after giving opportunity to all the stakeholders in the matter. Suffice to indicate that the Court has not adverted into the merits of the case. Order Date :- 14.12.2023 Rama Kant High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
