¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned AGA for the State and perused the record.

¶2This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the applicant with the prayer to direct the Judicial Magistrate, District Mau to decide the Complaint Case No. 325 of 2018 (Nazreen Bano @ Nazreen Khatun Vs. Mohammad Israil and others), Police Station Maniyar, District Mau within stipulated period.

¶3Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant is the wife of opposite party no.2 and she had filed an application under the Domestic Violence Act on

16.10.2018 against her husband and other family members, on the basis of which, the instant complaint case has been instituted, however, despite lapse of about five years, the said proceedings are still pending disposal and has been lingering-on, on one pretext or the other.

¶4In view of the above, learned court below is expected to make all endeavours to decide the aforesaid complaint case as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of filing of certified copy of this order without giving any unnecessary adjournments to either parties, if there is no other legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid application/complaint case.
