¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

¶2This writ petition is preferred for the following principal relief: "(a) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents No.1, 2 and 3 to take appropriate action under Law to protect the life of the petitioner from the respondent No.4.

(b) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to save the life and liberty of the petitioner guaranteed under the Constitution of India."

¶3In pith and substance, the petitioner is praying for protection from her husband.

¶3Be that as it may, without adverting on the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction that in case, the petitioner moves an application stating her grievance therein, the same shall be considered by third respondent, i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, District Maharajganj and appropriate order shall be passed in accordance with law, within three weeks from the date of production of the application along with a certified copy of this order, but certainly after giving audience to the petitioner and her husband.
