Applicant has filed this application under Section 482 Code of Criminal Procedure with the prayer to expedite the proceedings of Case No. 1623 of 2022 (Soni vs. Avikshit), under Section 125 Cr.P.C., pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Jaunpur within a stipulated period. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the claim by the applicant was filed on 4th of August, 2022, wherein the husband did not appear despite various notices and finally he was served through substituted service by way of publication on 16th November, 2022. By now a period of one year has gone, but there is no effective proceedings taking place in the case. Upon considering the submissions and nature of the case, the application is disposed of with a direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Jaunpur to adjudicate the subject complaint expeditiously by avoiding unnecessary adjournments.
