¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Ramesh Kumar Shukla, learned counsel for the respondent-Bank.

¶2The petitioner through this writ petition has prayed that a writ of mandamus be issued to the bank to accept the amount which is due from the petitioner. The petitioner has pointed out from the communication dated 23.09.2023 that Rs.6,60,055.68/- were due from the petitioner.

¶3Learned counsel for the bank, however, has informed that as of today Rs.7,16,197/- were due from the petitioner.

¶4Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he is ready and willing to pay this amount in easy installments.

¶5Under such circumstances, we provided that the petitioner may deposit 25% of Rs.7,16,197/- within a period of two months and thereafter he may deposit the remaining amount in six equal monthly installments. When the last installment would be paid the interest which might have accrued by then be informed to the petitioner and the same be taken from the petitioner.
