¶1Supplementary counter affidavit filed today is taken on record.

¶2Prayer made in the instant petition is for quashing of the order dated 26.7.2023 by which the respondent-Nagar Nigam approved grant of a contract relating to removal of unauthorized holdings from the limits of Nagar Nigam. The main challenge is on the ground that the contract was settled without any advertisement and through private negotiations.

¶3Sri M.C. Chaturvedi, learned Senior Counsel, appearing along with Sri Abhinava Krishna Srivastava, on instructions states that the contract has been cancelled by order dated

14.12.2023. A copy of the said order has been brought on record along with the supplementary counter affidavit.

¶4As such, cause of action no more survives.
