¶1The prayer of the petitioner is for a direction to the respondents to make payment against the bills raised by him for the work done under a contract relating to cleaning and lifting of garbage from the municipal limits.

¶2Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on representation made by the petitioner, District Magistrate , Ghazipur vide order dated 30.3.2022 directed the Executive Officer, Nagar Maha Palika to enquire into the matter and make payment according to Rules. However, no payment has been made so far.

¶3Sri A.K. Malviya, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no. 4, states that the claim of the petitioner would be considered by respondent no. 4.

¶4Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no. 4 to pass a speaking order on the representation of the petitioner dated 1.3.2023 (annexure-6) within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of the instant order along with photocopy of the representation.
