¶1Petitioner is aggrieved by the delay in processing his application dated 17.10.2023 to record change of date of birth on his Aadhaar Card.

¶2Upon written instructions received, Shri Rajesh Tripathi, learned counsel for the Union has relied on intimation dated

08.12.2023 issued to the petitioner indicating deficiencies in his application dated 17.10.2023. Copy of the same has been given to the learned counsel for the petitioner during the course of the proceeding.

¶3Learned counsel for the petitioner states, the petitioner shall remove the deficiencies within a period of one week from today.

¶4In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction, subject to the petitioner removing deficiencies indicated by his communication dated 08.12.2023 within a period of one week from today, the respondent no. 2 shall ensure that the petitioner's request is processed strictly in accordance with law and appropriate change, if any is recorded within a period of one month therefrom.
