The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners praying for a writ of mandamus commanding the revenue authorities for construction of a drainage in their village which, according to the petitioners, is necessary to resolve the water logging in their agricultural fields. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate that in case, the petitioners make a representation before the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate within fifteen days from today, the same shall be decided by the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate within a period of three months from the date of filing the representation.
