The present petition has been filed praying for the following relief:- I. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent No. 3 & 4 to approve and release the Member of Legislative Assembly Local Area Development Fund (MLA LAD Fund) total fund fifteen Lacs to the petitioner institution. It has been stated by the Standing Counsel that only Rs.5,00,000/- have been sanctioned to the petitioner and out of which Rs.3,00,000/- have already been released on 21st November, 2023. It would serve no useful purpose to keep the petition pending. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the District Magistrate, District Prayagraj shall take appropriate action in accordance with law for the release of balance amount and the balance amount shall be released only after the work allotted to the petitioners is completed by them.
