Hon'ble Shekhar B. Saraf,J. This writ petition has been filed against the final assessment order dated 12.2.2020 made by the respondent no. 2. Learned counsel for the Electricity Department Sri Chetan Chatterjee states that this is a very belated writ petition and that the petitioner, for the theft of the electricity has been rightly assessed. However, he states that the petitioner can avail the scheme floated by the order dated 4.11.2023 and can get his dues settled under the One Time Settlement Scheme. Under such circumstances, we provide that if the petitioner approaches the concerned authority within one week from today then the One Time Settlement proceedings vis-a-vis the petitioner shall be completed within a period of one month thereafter. For a period of two months or till the One Time Settlement is arrived at whichever is earlier, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner.
