Verma, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Rajesh Tiwari, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents and Sri Mohan Singh, learned counsel for respondent no.7. Admittedly, the petitioner has an alternative remedy of filing an application before Tehsildar under Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. Counsel for the petitioner submits that purpose of filing this writ petition would be served if direction is issued to the competent authority for deciding the said application expeditiously considering all the aspects of the case. Counsel for the respondents have no objection to this proposition. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to file appropriate application before the competent authority within two weeks from today and in the eventuality of doing so, it is expected from the competent authority to decide the application expeditiously.
