¶1While entertaining the instant writ petition following order dated 08.03.2022 has been passed by this Court:- "1. Learned counsel who represents the petitioner, has been elevated to this Bench.

¶2Let Card Notice be issued to the petitioner to engage some other counsel of his choice.

¶3List this case after three weeks along with office report regarding service of card notice."

¶2As per office report dated 20.01.2023 submitted by the Registrar (J)(N), registered notice sent to the petitioner, however, undelivered envelop has been received back with the postal remark of 'incomplete address'.

¶3Perusal of the record reveals that same name and address of the petitioner has been mentioned on the envelop sent to the petitioner through registered post, which has been mentioned in the array of parties of the instant writ petition. There is no another address of the petitioner available on the record for the purposes of sending notice to him. Till date no one has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner to pursue the instant writ petition. No useful purpose would be served to keep this writ petition pending for years to come, whereas no one has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner.

¶4In this conspectus, as above, this Court has no option but to dismiss the instant writ petition for want of prosecution.
