¶1Heard learned counsel appearing for the accused-petitioner and learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the State.

¶2Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking quashing of charge-sheet No.1, dated 26.02.2021 filed in Case Crime No.286 of 2020 under Sections 498A, 323, 506 IPC, 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow.

¶3Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to appear before the trial court and seek bail.

¶4Since the offence entails punishment of less than 7 years, the trial court may enlarge the accused on bail on furnishing personal bond and two sureties to the satisfaction of the trail court.

¶5Considering the aforesaid submissions, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner-accused to surrender before the trial court within a period of 10 days from today and apply for bail which shall be considered expeditiously in accordance with law.
