¶1Heard Shri Tanay, learned counsel for the petitioners and Shri Rajesh Tiwari, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the respondents and perused the record.

¶2The present petition has been filed with limited prayer for a direction to the Secretary, Department of Geology and Mining, Civil Secretariat Lucknow to decide Revision No.56(R) G&M (U.P.)/2023 M/S V.P. Construction and Another vs. District Magistrate, Banda and Others under Section 80 of the Uttar Pradesh Minor Minerals (Concession) Rules, 2021 within a stipulated period.

¶3In view of the aforesaid, the concerned authority is directed to decide the said revision expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before it.
