¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

¶2The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed to issue any other writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding opposite party nos. 2 to 5 to stop illegal construction of opposite party no.6 over the land of the petitioner/shade of petitioner situated at Jamolikhurd, Tehsil Bikapur, District Ayodhya.

¶3For the dispute between the petitioner and the private-respondent the appropriate remedy is not the writ petition and hence, this Court cannot issue a writ of mandamus against private person. The petitioner should approach the Civil Court concerned or any other appropriate forum for the relief sought in the present writ petition.
