¶1Heard learned counsel appearing for the accused-petitioner, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State and Sri S.B. Pandey, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India assisted by Sri Anand Dwivedi, learned counsel appearing for Union of India.

¶2Present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the State Government to make applicable the notification dated 03.03.2023 of Government of India in the case of the petitioner.

¶3The petitioner is employed as Mukhya Sevika in the Health Department of the State Government. Admittedly, the petitioner is a State Government employee.

¶4This Court cannot issue a writ of mandamus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to the State Government to adopt Central Government's notification in respect of the pension scheme.
