¶1Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State.

¶2Present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus commanding opposite party No.4 to approve the pay fixation of the petitioner in pay scale of Rs.15600 to 39100 with grade pay of Rs.6600 with effect from 01.01.1996 as submitted by opposite party No.5 and release arrears and other consequential benefits in favour of the petitioner.

¶3The petitioner is retired as Principal from Veer Raghav Bahgwat Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Ayodhya on 30.06.2019. The petitioner moved an application on 11.12.2022 for revision of his pay in pursuance of the order dated 28.07.2022 passed by District Inspector of Schools, Ayodhya.

¶4Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the Finance and Account Officer in the office of District Inspector of Schools, Ayodhya has prepared the sheet recommending revision of pay of the petitioner but the District Inspector of Schools has not taken any decision till date.

¶5Considering the aforesaid fact, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Inspector of School to take a decision on the recommendation, if any, of the Finance and Account Officer in the office of District Inspector of School within a period of one month.
