¶1Notice on behalf of the State has been accepted by learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel.

¶2This writ petition has been filed seeking following reliefs:- "(i) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the opposite parties to send back the petitioners from Dial-112 project to civil police for joining to their parent department within a reasonable time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

¶3The petitioners, who are Constables and Head Constables, are posted in District Lakhimpur Kheri in Dial 112 Establishment.

¶4Leaned counsel for the petitioners submits that all the petitioners have completed more than 3 years of their posting at Dial 112. He further submits that as per the relevant Government Order issued in this respect, police personnel posted at Dial 112 should not remain posted for more than 3 years. It is further submitted that letters have been written by the competent authority for posting police personnel, who have completed more than 3 years of their posting at Dial 112, to some other place but the petitioners have not been relieved from their present place of posting to be posted elsewhere.

¶5Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners may be given liberty to approach respondent No.2/3 for taking appropriate action relieving them from their present place of posting and post them elsewhere.

¶6Considering the aforesaid submission, present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to approach the competent authority for relief of posting them out from Dial 112. Respondent no.2/3 should consider the grievance of the petitioners and pass appropriate order within 2 months from the date petitioners approach him for the relief sought. (Dinesh Kumar Singh, J.)
