¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr. Pankaj Srivastava, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for respondent-State Authorities.

¶2Present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed, seeking quashing of the orders dated 14.06.2023 and 21.06.2023, copies of which are contained in Annexure No. 3 and 4 to the petition respectively, whereby the petitioner has been transferred from the present place of his posting.

¶3Admittedly, the petitioner holds a transferable post. Transfer and posting are subject matter, which are better left to the discretion of the competent authority. The Court should be slow in interfering in transfer and posting matters, which are given effect on administrative exigency.
