¶1The present public interest litigation has been filed by the petitioner alleging corruption in the office of Basic Shiksha Adhikari, Sultanpur and praying for high level enquiry followed by appropriate action against the persons guilty.

¶2On 04.09.2023, following order was passed:- "1. Ms. Isha Mittal, appearing for the State, on instructions points out that an enquiry was conducted against the Basic Shiksha Adhikari, Sultanpur on basis of complaint made by the petitioner. The allegations were found to be incorrect.

¶2As none is present for the petitioner, the matter is adjourned.

¶3Put up tomorrow, in the list of fresh cases."

¶3Ms. Isha Mittal, learned standing counsel has placed before us the written instructions received by her from Assistant Director of Education (Basic), Ayodhya Mandal, Ayodhya. Same is taken on record.

¶4According to the instructions, in the enquiry got conducted on the basis of complaint made by the petitioner no irregularity was found. The enquiry report is dated 05.08.2023. Learned standing counsel states that out-come of the enquiry has been communicated to the petitioner by E-mail on 08.08.2023.

¶5In view of the aforesaid development, we are of the opinion that the cause of action, on the basis of which instant petition was filed, does not survive.
