¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for State.

¶2Petitioner has approached this Court claiming that he has applied for permission to hold Durga Puja in the ensuing Navratri before the District Magistrate, Barabanki and his grievance will be sufficiently met in case his representation dated 25.09.2023 is considered and decided expeditiously in a time bound manner.

¶3Looking into the facts and circumstances of the case and without entering into the merits of the case, respondent no.2 District Magistrate, District-Barabanki is directed to consider and decide the representation of petitioner, in accordance with law, by a reasoned and speaking order, within a period of one week from the date a certified copy of this order is placed before him.
