¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel for opposite parties.

¶2Petition has been filed challenging order dated 20.06.2023 whereby petitioner has been suspended from service pending disciplinary proceedings.

¶3However, it has been admitted that in pursuance of suspension order, petitioner has already been issued a charge sheet to which he has submitted reply and enquiry proceedings are ongoing.

¶4Looking to the nature of charges indicated in the suspension order as well as fact that enquiry proceedings are already ongoing, it is directed that enquiry instituted in pursuance of charge sheet dated 01.07.2023 shall be concluded expeditiously preferably within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before authority concerned.
