¶1Present petition has been filed with the following prayers: "(a) To issue, a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties to construct the fair price shop at Village Panchayat Sethmau, Nawabganj, Barabank at the place adjacent to Panchayat Bhawan as per the Government Order dated 12-06-2023 contained as Annexure No.1 to this writ petition.

(b) To direct the opposite parties not to permit any construction over plot no.1540 of village Sethmau, Nawabganj, Barabanki which is situated at one corner of the Village Panchayat and is against the norms provided under the Government Order dated 12-06-2023 for construction of fair price shop in the interest of public at large. ....."

¶2Considering the fact that distribution of food supplies is basically to be done by the Civil Supply Department under the instructions and directions of the District Magistrate, the present petition is disposed off permitting the petitioner to file a representation before respondent no.2 who shall consider the case of the petitioner and take a decision in accordance with law and as per the government policy by passing a reasoned order within a period of one month thereafter.
