Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.G.A. and perused the record. This petition has been filed praying the following reliefs:-

(a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari thereby quashing the impugned first information report dated

22.9.2023 vide case crime no. 237 of 2023 under Section 498-A, 323, 504, 506, 406, 420, 467, 468 I.P.C. and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act., lodged at Police Station-Ibrahimpur, District-Ambedkar Nagar as contained in Annexure-1 to this writ petition.

(b) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party/ police authorities not to harass, detain or prosecute the petitioner in impugned first information report dated 22.9.2023 vide case crime no. 237 of 2023 under Section 498-A, 323, 504, 506, 406, 420, 467, 468 I.P.C. and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act., lodged at Police Station-Ibrahimpur, District-Ambedkar Nagar as contained in Annexure-1 to this writ petition. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he wants to withdraw this petition The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn.
