¶1Heard Sri Yuga Raj Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing counsel for the respondents.

¶2It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that arm's license of NP Bore Revolver/Pistol 32 Bore bearing No.FG21040/2010 was issued in favour of late father of the petitioner. After death of his father application has been moved for issuance of arm's license in favour of the petitioner and also to transfer the said weapon on the license of the petitioner. The application was moved by the petitioner in 2018 but till date no orders have been passed by opposite party No.2 i.e. District Magistrate, Sitapur and it is in aforesaid circumstances that the petitioner has prayed for a direction to opposite party No.2 to grant license of NP Bore Revolver/Pistol 32 Bore bearing No.FG21040/2010 by way of transfer of License No.1204 issued in favour of late father of the petitioner.

¶3Learned Standing counsel does not object to the aforesaid prayer of the petitioner.

¶4Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with a direction to opposite party No.2 to consider and decide the application of the petitioner for grant of the said license and for transfer of the said weapon, expeditiously, say within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is placed before him in accordance with law and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
