¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant-petitioners and Mr. Prabhakar Tiwari, Advocate, who has put in appearance and filed his Vakalatnama on behalf of sole contemnor - opposite party. Let the same be taken on record.

¶2Mr. Prabhakar Tiwari, learned counsel appearing for the sole contemnor - opposite party, has also filed affidavit of compliance, enclosing therewith copy of the order dated

06.10.2023 which has been passed by the District Magistrate, Ambedkar Nagar in compliance of order of the writ-Court dated

01.12.2022 passed in Public Interest Litigation (PIL) No. 847 of 2022 (Ashok Kumar and others Vs. State of U.P. and others). Let the same be also taken on record.

¶3Since the order of the writ-Court has been complied by the District Magistrate, Ambedkar Nagar, nothing remains to be adjudicated in this contempt petition.

¶4Accordingly, this contempt petition is hereby dismissed. However, it is always open to the applicant-petitioners to challenge the order dated 06.10.2023 passed by the District Magistrate, Ambedkar Nagar, strictly in accordance with law.
