¶1On instructions, learned Standing Counsel has submitted that an inquiry has already been completed on the complain made by the petitioner on 24.06.2019, therefore, the grievance raised in the present petition no more survives. It is also informed that the petitioner had previously filed writ petition no.15148 of 2017 which was disposed of on 12.07.2017 with certain directions. In pursuance of the directions issued by this Court, a detailed order was passed on 12.10.2017 by the competent authority.

¶2There is no disclosure whatsoever of the said order having been passed by the competent authority in the writ petition.

¶3It appears that the petitioner has adopted a mechanism of hide and seek in the writ petition and averments made therein are unclear as to the real cause of action. Such a practice in the matter of Public Interest Litigation must be distanced by a public spirited person. Since the inquiry has already been concluded in the matter, therefore, we are not inclined to entertain the present writ petition for the relief sought herein.

¶4Petition being misconceived and misinformed is accordingly, rejected. Order Date :- 11.10.2023 -Amit K-High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench
