The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioners being aggrieved by the impugned notification dated 03.05.2023 issued by Vice Chancellor, Chatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, a copy of which is annexure 1 to the petition, for which the petitioners have a statutory remedy of preferring of a reference under the provisions of Section 68 of the State Universities Act, 1973 (hereinafter referred to as "Act, 1973") before the Chancellor. Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of leaving it to the petitioners to file the reference under Section 68 of the Act, 1973 before the Chancellor. In case, such a reference is filed, the Chancellor may consider the same and decide the reference in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. Order Date :- 10.10.2023 S.
