¶1The writ petition was filed in the year 2008 seeking direction to opposite parties to pay salary to petitioner regularly month to month basis on the post of Assistant Teacher.

¶2Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this court vide interim order dated 29.5.2008 has directed the opposite parties to make payment of salary regularly to the petitioner. The operative portion of interim order on reproduction reads as under:- "Accordingly, the respondents are directed to pay the current salary to the petitioner and to continue to pay the salary month to month till the duly selected candidate from the Commission joins."

¶3Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the aforesaid interim order the petitioner is getting salary regularly and is still working.

¶4In view of above, I am of the considered view that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending.
