¶1Heard Ms. Savita Jain, learned counsel for petitioner and Sri Samir Om, learned counsel for respondents.

¶2With the consent of learned counsel appearing for the contesting parties, the writ petition is finally being disposed of.

¶3The petitioners claim that husband of petitioner no.1 and father of petitioner no.2 died in harness on 12.05.2018 but till date Gratuity, arrears of pension and arrears of A.C.P. have not been paid to them.

¶4In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with the directions to the respondent no.3/The Finance Director, U.P. Jal Nigam (Rural), Lucknow to calculate/determine the death cum post retiral dues payable to the petitioners and pay the admissible dues subject to the fulfillment of the required formalities by the petitioners as per law positively within a period of two months and while doing so they shall also take a decision as regards the interest payable on the delayed amount of gratuity as per provisions in the rules and orders in this regard from the date it became due and till date it is actually paid.
