¶1Heard learned counsel for parties.

¶2Petitioner has approached this Court claiming that it is the police authorities who are helping private persons, who are detailed in Ground-D of the writ petition, in raising unauthorized construction on the land of petitioner.

¶3Learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, states that police is there only to maintain law and order situation and is not helping any person. He further submits that police has also challaned both the parties under Section 107/116 of Cr.P.C.

¶4Since it is a dispute between the petitioner and private person, petitioner has an alternative remedy of filing a civil suit for injunction or for any other relief, if he so desires.
