¶1The present writ petition has been filed with the following prayers: "(i.) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties no-1,2 and 3 to initiate steps to vacate the Gram Sabha's Land having land Gata no. 222/0.711 hectare recorded in revenue record as "Charagah land of Village and Pargana Samvargheer (Paschimrath), Tahsil-Beekapur, District-Ayodhya from illegal encroachments, within specified time and to protect the common rights of villagers, in the interest of justice. (ii.) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to decide the representation moved by the petitioner (Annexure No. 3). Within stipulated time fixed by this Hon'ble Court."

¶2The Counsel for the respondent-State based upon the instructions states that the proceedings have already been initiated for removing the encroachment.

¶3Considering the fact that the proceedings have already been initiated, the present writ petition is disposed off directing the respondents to conclude the proceedings as expeditiously as possible, in accordance with law.
