Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State. This petition has been filed with a following main prayer:- "Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the First Information Report dated 02.10.2023 in case crime no.0503/2023 Under Section 3(1) of Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, Police Station: Raunahi District: Ayodhya. lodged by the opp. Party no.- 4 (Contained as Annexure No.1)" It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is being unduly harassed because of the political influence exercised by some powerful persons belonging to Jila Panchayat, Ayodhya. This Court has perused the F.I.R. as well as the gang chart and finds that at least in four cases, charge sheet has been filed before the court concerned. This Court further finds from the said gang chart that there are seven criminal cases against the petitioner.
