¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned State Counsel for opposite parties.

¶2Petition has been filed seeking a direction to opposite parties for calculation of service rendered by petitioners in Army for the purposes of service benefits admissible to petitioners in their subsequent engagement with the U.P. Police Department.

¶3Learned counsel for petitioners submits that in terms of paragraph no.410 of the U.P. Police Regulations as well as certain Government Orders, such benefit is available to petitioners. For the said grievance petitioners have already submitted representations but seeks liberty to file a fresh individual representation.

¶4Considering the innocuous prayer, without entering into merits, liberty is granted to petitioners to file fresh representation individually before competent authority, who shall consider and decide the same within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority along with representation.
