Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties. Petition has been filed seeking following reliefs:- " i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS thereby commanding and directing the Opposite party no. 3 and 4 to consider the appointment of the petitioners against the remaining/unfilled posts of Assistant Sub-Inspectors (Ministerial/Accounts) in the recruitment process of U.P. Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential Vigilance), Police Sub-Inspector (Clerk) and Police Assistant Inspector (Accounts) direct recruitment-2020 likewise the other similarly situated candidates who were lower in merits having secured lessor normalized marks than the cut of marks but they have been appointed against the remaining unfilled posts/vacancies of the same selection process by preparing waiting list for them by reducing cut of merit. ii. issue any other writ, order or direction, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case of the Petitioner. iii. To Award costs. " Since examination of petitioner's grievance would entail consideration of factual aspects, liberty is granted to petitioners to file fresh individual representations before the opposite party No.4 i.e. Chairman, U.P. Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow or any other competent authority. In case such representations are filed, the same shall be decided by a reasoned and speaking order within with period of six weeks from the date a copy of this order is produced before the said authority.
