¶1Present petition has been filed challenging the order dated

31.03.2023 whereby the amounts have been determined to be paid in exercise of powers under Section 7C, 7Q and 14B of the EPF & MP Act, 1952.

¶2Learned counsel for the respondent points out that an alternative remedy of appeal under Section 7-I of the EPC & MP Act, 1952 is available.

¶3Sustaining the objections raised by counsel for the respondent, the present petition is dismissed on the ground of availability of alternative remedy.

¶4In case the petitioner files an appeal within a period of 15 days from today, the same shall be decided on merits and shall not be rejected on the ground of delay.
