¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel for opposite parties 1 to 3 & 6. In view of order being passed, notices to opposite parties 4 and 5 stand dispensed with .

¶2Petition has been filed challenging order dated 14.09.2023 whereby minor penalty of censure has been imposed upon petitioner.

¶3At the very outset, learned State Counsel submits that petitioner has alternative and efficacious remedy of filing Appeal against the censure entry in terms of U.P. Police Officers of the Subordinate Rank(Punishment & Appeal) Rules, 1991.

¶4Considering aforesaid, liberty is granted to petitioner to file Appeal against order dated 14.09.2023.

¶5In case such an Appeal is filed, the same shall be decided within a period of three weeks from date of its presentation along with a copy of this order.
