¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel for opposite parties.

¶2Petition has been filed seeking a direction to opposite parties for considering his case for transfer from District-Lucknow to Meerut Range on compassionate basis.

¶3It has been submitted that petitioner's husband is working in the civil police in Muzaffar Nagar, and therefore, petitioner seeks his transfer in a nearby District on the basis of spousal transfer.

¶4For the said grievance, petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 30.06.2023 before the concerned authority. At present, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer for a decision with regard to same.

¶5Considering the innocuous prayer, without entering into merits, liberty is granted to petitioner to file a fresh representation before opposite party no.2 i.e. Additional Director General of Police (Establishment), D.G.P. Headquarter, U.P., Lucknow, who shall consider and decide the same within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority along with fresh representation.

¶6Petitioner shall annex a copy of the representation dated 30.6.2023 along with the copy of this order.
