The matter is listed today under Chapter XII Rule 4 of the Allahabad High Court Rules, 1952. The appeal is of the year 1991 and on 12.09.2023, the Court had passed the following order, which reads as under:- "By means of order dated 10.08.2023, counsel for the appellants was directed to take steps, however, as per office report dated 05.09.2023, counsel for the appellants has failed to take steps. A week's time is granted to the appellants to take steps in terms of the earlier order. In case, if the steps are not taken, the matter shall be listed immediately after the expiry of the aforesaid period under the appropriate head. However, if the steps are so taken, office shall verify and issue the same returnable at an early date." As per the office report dated 10.10.2023, learned counsel for the appellants has failed to take steps. In view of the aforesaid, the appeal is dismissed under Chapter XII Rule 4 of the Allahabad High Court Rules, 1952. Consigned to record.
