¶2Petition has been filed seeking a direction to opposite parties to convene a meeting for considering regularization of petitioners in pursuance of office memorandum dated
16.05.2023 issued by Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue), Lucknow for constituting such a Selection Committee. Further prayer for regularization of petitioners on post of Collection Amin with effect from the date of occurrence of vacancy under 35% quota as well as providing exemption in age limit in pursuance of Government Order dated 22.02.2019 has also been made.
¶3It is submitted that petitioners have been engaged as Seasonal Collection Amin on various dates between year 1996 and 2001 and have been declared eligible for such regularization in the meeting held on 18.04.2022 but have not been regularized till date despite the fact that similarly situated employees have already been regularized in service. It is submitted that various posts of Collection Amin are already lying vacant.
