Judgment
Court No. - 8 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 8901 of 2013 Petitioner :- Smt. Nisha Verma Respondent :- State Of U.P.Thr.Prin.Secy.Food And Civil Supplies Deptt. And Anr Counsel for Petitioner :- Anil Kumar Singh Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Pankaj Bhatia,J. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order dated 20.08.2013, whereby the request of the petitioner for giving the shop to the petitioner on compassionate ground was rejected. Considering the fact that the application of the petitioner was rejected in the year 2013 and the purpose of extending the appointment on compassionate ground is to tide over the immediate financial crisis of the family of the deceased, I do not see any ground to grant appointment on compassionate ground after about ten years of filing of the present writ petition. Thus, the petition lacks merits and is accordingly dismissed. Order Date :- 18.10.2023 Arun High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench
