¶1Heard Sri Satish Kumar Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel for respondent nos. 1 and 2.

¶2In the light of order proposed to be passed, notice to respondent no. 3 is dispensed with.

¶3By means of present writ petition the petitioner has challenged the order dated 28.03.2023, passed by respondent no. 2 - District Supply Officer, Sitapur where by fair price shop license of the petitioner has been cancelled.

¶4It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that certain complaints were made which were enquired into by the authorities and subsequently fair price shop license cancellation order has been passed in contravention of Government Order.

¶5Learned Standing Counsel has submitted that against the impugned order the petitioner was equally efficacious remedy of appeal before the appellate authority.

¶6Learned counsel for the petitioner after arguing the matter up to some length submits that petitioner may be relegated to the alternate remedy.
