Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State and Sri Waseeq Uddin Ahmed, learned counsel representing the Respondent No.2. By means of this writ petition, prayer has been made for directing the Respondent No.1 i.e. the State to decide the revision petition said to have been preferred by the petitioner, in June, 2022, expeditiously. Having regard to the innocuous nature of prayer made in this petition, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the Respondent No.1 to decide the revision petition preferred by the petitioner within four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order in accordance with law. It is also provided that the application moved in June, 2022 seeking grant of interim relief moved by the petitioner shall also be decided, expeditiously. Since at this stage no action is being taken against the petitioner, therefore, his other prayers for relief is not considered at this stage. In case any action is taken with regard to the property in dispute by the respondent, it shall always be open to the petitioner to file a petition before this Court or to take appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
