¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant and Sri Alok Kumar Tiwari, learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record.

¶2This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the Commissioner, Ayodhya Division, Ayodhya to decide the proceeding under Section 6(1) of U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970 bearing Appeal No. 2207 of 2023, Computerized Case No. C202304000002207 (Dhananjay Singh @ Pappu Singh Vs. State of U.P.).

¶3Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the Commissioner, Ayodhya Division, Ayodhya to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, maximum within a period of one month from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
