¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel for opposite party nos. 1 to 4.

¶2In view of order being passed, notices to opposite party nos. 5 and 6 stands dispensed with.

¶3Petition has been filed seeking a direction to opposite parties to regularize services of petitioner in accordance with the rules whereby petitioner is eligible for same.

¶4It has been submitted that petitioner was initially engaged on daily wage basis on 20.06.1987 and is continuously performing his duties as such but has not been regularized in service despite the fact that similarly situated persons have already been regularized on 24.02.2003 ignoring petitioner's claim.

¶5For the said grievance has already been submitted a representation dated 17.08.2023. At present, learned counsel for petitioner restricts his prayer for a final decision with regard to same.

¶6Considering the innocuous prayer, without entering into merits, liberty is granted to petitioner to file a fresh representation before opposite party no. 2 i.e. Executive Engineer (Headquarter-2) Office Chief Engineer U.P. Lok Nirman Vibhag, Lucknow, who shall decide the same within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority. Petitioner shall annex a copy of representation dated 17.08.2023 along with the copy of this order.
