¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties. Power has been filed by Mr. Sheel Nidhi Shukla, learned counsel on behalf of Mr. Arif Fasihi who has been heard in terms of Chapter 22 Rule 5A of the Allahabad High Court Rules.

¶2Petition has been filed challenging the final seniority list issued vide letter dated 21.11.2022. Further prayer for deciding petitioner's representation regarding grant of notion promotion on the post of Assistant Development Officer (Social Welfare) from the date when persons junior to him have been so promoted with effect from 22.12.2016 has also been sought.

¶3After arguing the matter at some length, learned counsel for petitioner seeks liberty to withdraw the petition in order to challenge the final seniority list before State Public Services Tribunal.
