¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties.

¶2Petition has been filed seeking a direction to opposite parties to consider and decide the petitioner's representation with regard to his joining.

¶3It has been submitted that petitioner was earlier engaged in service in the year 2006 as a daily wage employee in the Police Training School, Gorakhpur but was unable to perform his duty for a period of one week from 14.04.2013 till 22.04.2023 whereafter he has not been permitted to join the post.

¶4For the aforesaid grievance, petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 28.09.2023. At present learned counsel for petitioner restricts her prayer for a final decision with regard to same.

¶5Considering innocuous prayer being made by learned counsel for petitioner and without entering into the merits of the case, concerned authority is directed to consider and decide representation dated 28.09.2023 by reasoned and speaking order within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before said authority.
