¶1Heard Sri Sudeep Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Shikhar Anand, learned counsel for the opposite party.

¶2Sri Shikhar Anand has drawn attention of this Court towards para 5 of the affidavit of compliance wherein it has been indicated that in order to ensure fullest compliance of the order of the Court dated 29.3.2022 the Corporation proceeded to cancel the draw lots and the position of selection has been set back to the one which existed up to March 29, 2022. He has further drawn attention of this Court towards Annexure no. CA-1 which is an order dated 10.8.2023 wherein the aforesaid fact has been indicated in the last but one paragraph.

¶3Since the order in question has been cancelled in compliance of the order of the writ court as specific submission to this effect has been given in the affidavit and letter to that effect has been filed, therefore, there is no purpose to keep this contempt petition pending any longer.

¶4Accordingly, the contempt petition is dismissed.
