¶1Affidavit of compliance filed today is taken on record.

¶2In paragraph 3 of the affidavit it is stated that the meeting of the Selection Committee was held on 16.10.2023 and the candidature of the petitioner has been recommended for promotion as Deputy Librarian under Career Advancement Scheme and the same has also been approved by the Executive Council in its meeting held on

17.10.2023.

¶3The decision of the Selection Committee as well as the approval granted by the Executive Council has been communicated to the petitioner vide letter dated 30.10.2023 as contained in Annexure CA-1.

¶4The University is directed to implement the decision of the Executive Council expeditiously and preferably within a period of one month from today.

¶5The grievance raised by the petitioner has since been redressed in accordance with law, therefore, no cause survives for further consideration in this writ petition.
